COMPACT DESIGN:

The SCAND TECH A-10 Tank Killer is a compact, strategically designed system. It integrates all major components on a single frame, which is enclosed in a tough, weather-resistant canopy. The A-10 Tank Killer design provides output of up to 70cfm at 100psi. Because it measures just 20” wide x 45” long x 30” high and only weighs 405lbs, the A-10 can be set on any class truck with minimal affect on load capacity and visibility. It is narrow enough to fit into standard industrial gates and doorways, as well as service elevators for high rise or underground construction. The size of the A-10 makes it ideal for replacing Piston Compressors with 30 gallon storage tanks.

ROTARY SCREW DEPENDABILITY:

The heart of the SCAND TECH A-10 Tank Killer compressor is the rotary screw air-end. Rotary screw compression is ideal for Duct Cleaning because it provides constant air flow and pressure, regardless of the amount of time it takes to get the job done. This eliminates the need for an air storage tank, so there is no waiting for the system to “catch-up”. Two helical grooved rotors, turning at conservative speeds in a bath of lubricant, are the only major moving parts. The two rotors mesh on a lubricated pitch line virtually eliminating wear. the air-ends is warranted for 2 years against defects in materials, workmanship, and loss of capacity due to wear. Extended and life-time warranties are available.

THE POWER SOURCE:

The SCAND TECH A-10 Tank Killer features the Kohler CH 730 OHV V-Twin gasoline engine. Heavy-Duty engine components ensure optimum durability and long engine life. The Kohler CH 730 is built to withstand the most punishing working conditions. A forged-steel crankshaft with high-load capacity ball bearings and cast-iron cylinder liners ensure maximum reliability and promote long engine life. An overhead valve design, 25 amp alternator, low oil pressure safety shutdown, and electronic spark ignition are just a few of the features that make this engine life the most fuel efficient, quiet running, plus maintenance free.
